What is the HYS Strategy?
The 512M High Yield Stablecoin Strategy (HYS) is an investment strategy that primarily focuses on yield generation and yield farming in decentralised finance.
The strategy holds mainly stable-coins, crypto assets pegged to a currency, and allocates them across various exchange, lending and derivative protocols. Resulting yield is either compounded or kept in incentive tokens and actively allocated acoording to our fundamental research.
High Liquidity
We only allocate funds in DeFi protocols with deep liquidity and no lock-up periods. This allows the SHY Strategy to offer 100% liquidity over a 7 day timeframe.
Features of the HYS Strategy
Low Volatility
90% of assets are held in vetted stablecoins. This allows the SHY strategy to minimise impact from large market swings, which results in a volatility of 5%.
Personalised
The SHY Strategy can be personalised to your needs. We can adjust allocation ranges, have it distribute earnings instead of compounding them and more.
Risk Management
We analyse and rate risk associated to Blockchains, Protocols, Pools and Assets individually to calculate the risk rating of an allocation according to our BPPA risk management framework.
Additionally, we’ve developped in-house tools to monitor any suspicious on-chain activity to provide early warnings of any exploits or hacks.
Performance
The SHY Strategy has been active since its launch on the the 31st of October 2022. The NAV is calculated and updated daily based on a 00:00 UTC snapshot. Our primary benchmark is BNDX as the HYS primarily aims to beequivalent to a fixed-income strategy within the DeFi space.
Since September 2023 we have also been releasing monthly reports that showcase our latest monthly return, volatility, guidance and overall risk ratings.
